Bremerhaven – German Maritime Museum

CLIENT: DEUTSCHES SCHIFFFAHRTSMUSEUM BREMERHAVEN JULY 2023 TO MAY 2024 The German Maritime Museum Bremerhaven (DSM) was renovated in an extensive refurbishment process and developed into an attractive research and museum location. The new permanent exhibition entitled “Ship Worlds – The Ocean and Us” was created in an extension building. In this exhibition, visitors learn all about ships, their history and the forces of the sea. It provides special insights into shipbuilding and life at sea. However, the exhibition is also critical of the position of humans as exploiters of the seas and deals with the substantive issues of the economy. 235 Media contributed various media stations and installations to the redesign of the entire exhibition area, including planning, delivery and installation.
